Well, what a year it was in 2016! We appeared at the Chippenham Folk Festival and the Brest Maritime Festival in Brittany, amongst many others, and have been looking forward to appearing at this year's Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival. As we tell everyone, this is the best shanty festival in the country and is always one of the highlights of our year.
As always, we look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones. Last year we made some great new friends from Goodes Solicitors and those in the audience at the Watersport's Centre last year will remember how good they were. We hope that they will be there again this year. As usual we will encourage participation in our choruses (and sometimes the verses as well) and dancing to our tunes. We look forward to performing our ever expanding repertoire of old and new shanties and ballads, ranging from the comic and outrageous to the tragic, plus songs and tunes associated with the coast from both home and further afield and, of course, a good sprinkling of those songs that we choose to call 'songs of love, lust and loose living'!
