Covid-19

Falmouth’s International Sea Shanty Festival will be going virtual for 2021. The Virtual Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival will take place live on Facebook and YouTube at 6pm Saturday 19th June. In respect of the current situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and given that the Festival normally attracts in excess of 65,000 visitors to see over 70 shanty groups, it would not be feasible to go ahead with the physical plans for this year. See the full press release here.

We will communicate any further updates on our website, Facebook, Twitter, and via the media.

Furthermore, Falmouth town have installed sanitiser units, signage, promotional literature and floor markings around the town, along with leading the way across Cornwall in recovery plans.
