Sponsors & Advertisers

For 2019, an estimated 65,000 visitors descended on the town between Friday and Sunday to enjoy more than 350 hours of free entertainment from 66 groups across 25 venues.

Our sponsors and advertisers play an important part to the festival. With Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival growing at a fast pace, sponsorship and advertising traction continues to grow year on year, benefitting both the town of Falmouth and the businesses involved.

The Greenbank Hotel came aboard in 2020 as a key sponsor with a role focusing on the sustainability element of the festival. They will be helping to aid improved recycling and better waste management facilities over the weekend.

Seasalt Cornwall joined as second main sponsor in 2014. With a Cornish and maritime background, Seasalt falls hand-in-hand with the festivals brand and they have played a big part in the success of Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival over the years. From the quirky reusable cup design, sea shanty merchandise, Seasalt performance stages, group support and all round general support for the festival, their sponsorship continues to maintain a stronghold for the event.

Skinners Brewery has been main sponsor since the festival’s formation in 2004, supplying plenty of beer, laughter and the inspirational Betty Stogs, who collections thousands of pounds every year for our charity partner the Falmouth RNLI.

There are many other sponsors who help support the festival, from local eateries to maritime companies. See more about our sponsors here.

Over the years many people have advertised in our Shanty programme and at our festival. Take a look here through previous advertisements.
