The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is proud to be partnered with Skinners Brewery and Seasalt Cornwall!
Every year the festival gains new fans and fills the whole of Falmouth with an incredible atmosphere. Spectators come from local and afar to enjoy live shanty music over a period of three days.
Skinners Brewery has been title sponsor since the festival’s formation in 2004, supplying plenty of beer, laughter and the inspirational Betty Stogs, who collections thousands of pounds every year for our charity partner the Falmouth RNLI. The Beat Betty Competition encourages groups to compete to see who can raise the most money for the charity, and this contributes hugely to the festival’s fundraising targets. The Skinners Stage is located on Events Square and hosts the Closing Ceremony, bringing all of the groups together in a final sing-song in front of thousands.

Seasalt Cornwall joined as second title sponsor in 2014. Their Cornish inspired womenswear is always a huge hit with festival goers and their Falmouth shop serves as an amazing outdoor venue right in the heart of the town. You can find the Seasalt stage on the historic Custom House Quay, the most picturesque stage in town surrounded by great waterside pubs and eateries.
