Les Souillés de fond de cale...26 years of stops and more than 950 concerts
A band of six musicians and singers from the Côtes d’Armor in Brittany. Les Souillés started their adventure in 1991 at the sea shanty festival of Paimpol, the mecca of maritime heritage. After interpreting traditional shanties, they have, over the years, made their songs, while continuing archiving tunes. The repertoire is based on sea songs, flavored rum, but also tunes in the pure maritime tradition.
Les Souillés use humour intensively and work energetically on stage, sweeping aside any sullenness that lies in their path. Regularly present in the major international sea festivals and folk festival, they made a stopover in Brittany, France, Iceland, Estonia, Italy, England, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada...
