Through The Years CD


In light of this year’s Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival cancellation it seemed only right to create a CD of music “Through the Years”! And in true Sea Shanty charitable spirits ALL PROCEEDS will be going to the Royal Cornwall Hospital COVID-19 Fund.

Falmouth Sea Shanty heads to BBC Radio 4


Falmouth’s International Sea Shanty is taking to BBC Radio 4 live at 8.55am on the 9th April 2020 to perform the well-known hit “Cornwall My Home”. Originally sung by Harry Glasson, this is a song that strikes a chord with many shanty fans not only in Cornwall but all over the UK.

Sea Shanty Festival Cancelled for 2020


A unanimous decision has been made that Falmouth’s International Sea Shanty Festival, 12th – 14th June has been cancelled due to COVID-19.

Coronavirus Update


Planning is going ahead as normal at the moment and we will make sure to adhere to national guidelines. With the fast pace and daily changes of guidelines to do with Coronavirus (COVID-19) it is too early to make any changes at this stage.

Tickets on sale now for our annual shanty concert!


Saturday 13th June at The Poly, Ship-Shape and Bristol Fashion will feature performances from Barnacle Buoys, The Harry Browns of Bristol, The Longest Johns and the Severn Whalers.
